a new journey to the island of gods

You live a part of your life planning a lot of things that you want to achieve in your life time. With the passage of times those plans are modified and prioritized according to the need of the time. I am sure you all at some point of your life dreamed of owning a vacation home at some quiet & exotic beach and some of you may still do. However most of us get too busy in their life that such dreams are forgotten or neglected as we normally have a lot more on our plate to take care of.

We made the same plan as a family when we first visited Bali in 1998, it was peaceful, it was quiet and it was beautiful. Our family of four simply fell in love with it and on our second trip we all decided that one day we are going to own a retirement home here, where the kids can visit us for a long family vacation. That dream was lost, buried somewhere in the back of my mind that even my wife never remembered that. So we retired a few years back and were still living in our old home which ain't bad. Moving with our life slowly with our kids busy in their life.

So last thanks giving my elder son showed up with two tickets to Bali and the surprise wasn't just limited to this. Our whole family was going to Bali including my other kids and my grand kids. It was like a grand vacation after so many years every one was there. The surprise turned out to be bigger than that. As soon as we landed, our pick up was there to take us to one of the best luxury villa i have seen so far. Next morning it turned out that the airport pick up service was provided by Kibarer Property with whom my sons were in touch for months to buy a retirement villa for us. We soon went for the inspections of few villas and it was surprising to see our kids know us better than we thought. They not only remembered the promise but they also remembered what kind of villa we wanted to live.

So enough with my blabbering, we live in a perfect beachfront villa at a quiet beach in Jimbaran. We wake up to soothing ocean breeze and view of the sky blue ocean. Life can not get any better than this may be the Gods of this Island wanted us to come back forever here.
