Life is unexpected as they say, it can be cruel one moment but the very next moment it can bring all the joy of the world to you. Such is the case of Afghan American Refugee Shaesta Waiz. She came to United States with her family in 1987 after the Soviet War in Afghanistan. Leaving your country in fear of your life when it has become one of the bloodiest war zone in the world is the most terrible thing that can happen to you.

She became the youngest certified civilian pilot from Afghanistan. She is an engineering graduate and has kicked off a 90 days solo journey around the world. Her motivation behind this journey is to inspire the generations of STEM & aviation professionals. She has also conducted various outreach programs on her each stop.

The journey she is on as she likes to call it " Dreams Soar Mission" was kicked off from Daytona Florida in July. She is scheduled to travel 5800 km by circling around the world and landing back in Florida in August.

She is due to land in Bali at 12:35 Pm at Ngurah Rai International airport. She is supposed to be greeted by officials elevant agencies, including Airnav Bali, Pertamina, and Biomantara. After getting done with the welcoming ceremony she is expected to visit Hotel Discovery Kartika Plaza in Kuta where she is supposed to stay for three days before moving on to her next destination Darwin.
