As Covid-19 cases have dropped, the Denpasar municipal council has
decided to reopen four popular parks in the city.
I Dewa Gede Rai, spokesman for the Denpasar Covid-19 Handling Task
Force, confirmed that four public areas, including Lumintang Public Field,
Puputan Public Field, Lumintan Public Park, and Janggan Public Park, were
officially reopened on Tuesday (12/10), as Covid-19 transmissions in Denpasar
had been properly handled, and no recent death cases had been recorded.
"We chose to reinstate these public facilities for our
citizens now that the Covid-19 transmissions had been handled properly."
On Tuesday, Gede Rai stated. Gede Rai, on the other hand, advises people to
continue following the preventative methods, particularly during the present
Level 3 Partial Lockdown in Bali. "Despite reopening these locations to
the public, we still stationed officers in the regions to oversee the
implementation of preventative methods." Gede Rai added.
Authorities from a variety of organizations, including the Police
Department, Public Civil Service Officers, the Transportation Agency, and
Military Officers, will be deployed, particularly during peak hours in the
afternoon, when the bulk of people visit the parks for exercise. "Our
officers' presence will be increased over the weekend and in the afternoons, as
huge crowds are expected to congregate in those areas at those times."
Gede Rai concluded.
