Bali had an eventful scary start of the week when a couple of earthquake of 4.7 Richter scale shook Bali at 10:44 Am and 12:55 Pm on 9th June. The shocks were felt up to 10 seconds in the areas of Klungkung, Bangli, Gianyar, Denpasar,Badung and Tabanan. Thankfully no injuries and casualties have been reported so far.

Australia Bureau of statistics has confirmed in its report of Bali being the most favorite and popular destination for holiday in Australia. Every month 105,500 Australians visit Bali which is surpassing the number that visit New Zealand which was the previous top choice destination. Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya stated that this is mainly because of the recent deregulation policy which was implemented last year and the multiple "Wonderful Indonesia" promotional campaign.

Even though it is just a regular day for Hindu Majority of Bali but last week Ramadan the holy month of Muslims have started. This is the month where the whole muslim world go through a month long fasting only to practice self control, self reflection by abstaining themselves from food, water and worldly temptations from dawn till dusk.
