bali highlights week 3 august 2018

Last week was all about the Independence day of Indonesia. Indonesia was a colonial state for Netherlands until 17th August 1945 when it came into independence. Just like every year the celebrations for Independence day were at peak in Bali. Schools, colleges, Universities arranged special events for the day. There were many promotions launched by various hotels, restaurants and clubs. Finns' beach, Bali Mandira Resort, Benoa Resorts promotions were on top of the tourists lists to take benefit from.

2018 Asian games started on 18th August with a great launching ceremony. President Jokowi's entrance on a sports bike was the highlight of the event. There were many breath taking and proud moments in the asian games for Indonesian people. Japanese contingent carrying Indonesian flag is indeed the proudest moment for all of us. The performance by the 4000 dancers is one of a kind performance in all asian games so far. 

It is requested to pray and help in any way that you can for Lombok earth quake victims. Lombok has still not recovered from the previous quakes and now it has been hit again with a big earth quake. Casualties are constantly coming, support is constantly need so donate in any way you can.
