Last week a tragedy hit Bali when a ferry carrying 30 tourists and 4 crew members exploded during its travel between Indonesian resort islands of Bali and Lombok. The explosion killed two foreigners and injured 18, some of them are still in critical conditions.

The tourists who have been killed are identified as one Australian women while the identity of the other foreigner female casualty is still to be identified however she is believed to be Spanish. While the injured tourists include two from Germany, few from Britain, France, Italy, Portugal, Ireland and Spain.

U.S Federal Aviation has recently decided to lift a decade old safety banned imposed on Indonesian airlines, In the light of this ban removal the flights to US via transit in Japan are being relaunched by Indonesian national carrier to U.S. Garuda Indonesia is optimistic to begin the operations as soon as possible in the next year as they are waiting to clear the pending preparatory work and a transit permit approval from Japan. The flights are more likely to land the first time after a decade in Los Angelos or New York, the cities considered to have the highest potential.
