Who said Kebab doesn't match with Bali?

Being a food lover I always look forward to trying new places, new cuisines and food from every culture. I was on a look out for a good Kebab in Bali and was actually waiting to try this joint at the famous Sunset road called Istanbul Mezeh Kebab House. So I went there with a group of friends recently and my o my it was a feast to enjoy.

The food was really fresh (Mezze looks wonderful), you can simply smell the flavor from far away and it spikes your hunger to a whole new level. The kebabs exceeded our expectations as they were ridiculously delicious. Their Mezze is one of the best I have had so far. We Loved the aubergine puree and the Adana Lamb Kebab as a main course. It was a little spicy but not too spicy that you stop feeling your taste buds. You can try the fish with Almond, it is very interesting too. Best part is that their prices are very reasonable as compared to other places like this (not warung prices doh). We all really enjoyed our food and everybody was so full that we didn’t even have any place for desserts.

Istanbul Kebab house is a good addition as you look at the place and you wonder what did the owner miss. In my opinion this may be a small joint but owner really put a lot of effort and thought in building it. You have good parking space which is mostly an issue at sunset road. They have indoor and outdoor seating so you can either enjoy the weather while you eat or you can simply eat indoors if that’s what you prefer.

The place is not too big but it isn’t small either however the interior reminds us small place in Turkey. You will understand what I mean by the cute statement when you will visit yourself. The best part about this place is the variety they offer, it sounds like a meat lover place only but you will be surprised with the variety they offer in both vegetarian and meat.

Since it was our first visit there and we wanted to try out as many dishes as possible, we straightly got to exploring the menu. The owner of this place noticed us and came to say hello. A very nice person who made us feel special with his welcoming gesture. He also suggested us a few dishes according to our taste recommendation.

If you feel bored of the Nasi goreng, I highly recommend this restaurant in Bali.
