Citilink is a low cost carrier, a subsidiary of Garuda the national flag carrier of Indonesia. It is all set to launch a second direct flight from Denpasar to Australia later this month, this time the focus is to serve passengers from Bali to Melbourne.

The flight will fly to Avalon, it is located in the Greater Geelong City. This international airport is located just outside the Melbourne metropolitan area.

According to the recent statement given by Avalon, the daily return flights will start from January 24. Departing at 11:45 Pm from Bali and reaching Melbourne at 8:30 Am. The return flight will commence at 12:50 Pm from Melbourne and will land at 4:20 Pm in Bali as per the local times.

“Bali is our most requested international destination and one that we have been actively pursuing for some time,” Justin Giddings, CEO of Avalon Airport, was quoted as saying. 

The first flight to Australia from Bali was recently launched last month in December, it was the route to Perth from Denpasar. Citilink is joining the increasing number of airlines which offer direct flights to and from Denpasar,  which includes a Denpasar – Ho Chi Minh route from Vietnam Airlines that was launched in October. .
