During the emergency partial lockdown, the Bali Ngurah
Rai Immigration Office has notified that in-person services have been
temporarily suspended.
The closure of in-person service was begun to help the
province government's attempt to reduce Covid-19 transmissions inside Bali's
public sector institutions, according to an official announcement from the
Ngurah Rai Immigration Office. The Immigration Class I Ngurah Rai Bali is
closed for 14 days, beginning July 7th and ending July 20th, 2021.
In-person service is unavailable for both Indonesian
residents seeking a new passport and foreign nationals seeking to extend their
visa. Aside from that, the online service for applying online via the APAPO app
is also temporarily stopped. Medical and other emergency immigration services
are still accessible for Indonesian nationals.
Meanwhile, foreign nationals who need to extend their
stay permission during the emergency partial shutdown can go to
https://.izintinggal-online.imigrasi.go.id/. After completing the application,
expats must send a confirmation message through WhatsApp to +6285967223300
(chat only) along with evidence of the online extension permission application.
Expats and their sponsors are obliged to visit the immigration office if they
are unable to extend their visa online. With
strict preventive measures in place, the immigration office, as one of the key
government sectors, is permitted to function at just 25% of its capacity. For
