hotels in bali offering 50% discount to international tourists

The Bali hotel offers special rates to accommodate international tourists who have started coming to the island.

Director of Badung Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association, I Gusti Agung Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya confirmed that several 3-5 star hotels in Bali are offering special rates to accommodate foreign tourists who have started coming to the country.

"Many of our hotels in Bali are offering a 50% discount to attract more visitors to the island," Suryawijaya said on Friday (8/4) in Sanur.

Suryawijaya admitted hotel occupancy in Bali has started to increase since the quarantine policy was lifted and the visa-on-arrival program continued.

“Amazing! We are now seeing more international visitors and hotel occupancy increasing by 25%,” Suryawijaya added. He is also optimistic that Bali airport will receive more international flights this month.

10 international airlines have resumed international connections to Bali, and Bali airport is expected to receive another 9 airlines soon.

“We receive 2,000 international visitors every day, and I am optimistic that this number will continue to increase this month. This will help the tourism sector and our economy to recover in 2023,” Suryawijaya said.
