The Covid-19 Acceleration Task Force has announced that 7 out of 9 areas in Bali are considered safer areas for Covid-19 transmission.

The leader of the Bali Covid-19 task force, I Made Rentin, confirmed that most of Bali was in the yellow zone as the number of cases had dropped significantly.

β€œ7 areas namely Denpasar, Jembrana, Klungkung, Karangasem, Bangli, Buleleng and Tabanan have been designated as yellow areas. The other two, Badung and Gianyar, are still classified as orange areas with a higher risk of Covid-19 transmission until Friday (3/11),” Rentin said.

As one of the safest areas in Bali, Buleleng has closed all quarantine facilities in the area due to the reduced number of Covid-19 patients, leaving the facility uninhabited.

Buleleng Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Chief Putu Ariadi Pribadi confirmed that authorities recently closed quarantine facilities in Jinengdalem village on Thursday (3/10) and Kubuaddan village on Tuesday ( 22/2).

β€œThe last quarantine time for our Covid patients ends today, and they have been allowed to go home,” Pribadi said Thursday morning (3/10).

After officially closing the facility, authorities immediately sterilized the building to turn the area into a student dormitory. However, Pribadi claimed to have reached an agreement with a regional military officer in KubuAddan village that if the case worsens again, they could continue to use the dormitory as a quarantine facility.
