Bali's tourism sector has asked the central government to resume the VoA policy to help the tourism industry.

Indonesia Tour chairman Wayan Suena said reopening Bali airport to international flights and foreign visitors would not have a significant impact on Bali's dying tourism sector.

He suggested that the central government revise some of the travel requirements to attract more international visitors.

β€œIn addition to reopening borders and reducing quarantine time for international visitors, we also need to continue our visa-on-arrival policy and reduce insurance coverage, so that more people consider visiting the island. β€œ, said Suena, Thursday (2/2). . . / 17).

He is optimistic that this revision will boost Bali's economy and help it recover from the current crisis.

Suena also suggested that the government revoke the quarantine policy for travelers who have been vaccinated.

β€œI am sure one hundred percent of tourists will start coming to Bali if the central government agrees to our demands. Otherwise, I fear outsiders will control most of our assets on the island,” Suena concluded.
