Praying each to their own God, in their own way this Sunday the whole world saw a beautiful scene when Bali United won against Papua Team in Gianyar by 3-1. The players in Bali team comes from a variety of cultures & faith but they show the unity that the world is badly in need of.
The above photo shows three players belonging to three different faiths celebrating their victory in Bali. This is definitely the most beautiful statement given in the recent past about the multiculturalism and tolerance on the true Island of Gods. Bali is a land of where the majority belongs to Hindu population with Christians, Buddhists and Muslims.
The photo has taken the internet by the storm and didn't take long to go viral. The three players in this picture are Ngurah Nanak (hindu) stands tall proudly touching his hands to his forehead, Yabes Roni (Christian) kneeling while clasping his hands and Miftahul Hamdi is bowing down on the ground thanking Allah.
This wasn't a directed celebration, it was a spontaneous celebration by them in the best way they know.
“There were no instructions to do that. Football can show incredible strength. In football, we can also fight, but we (celebrate) like this.
“Because togetherness is a strength of Bali United.
“That was from the players’ spontaneity alone.”
As stated by Widodo C.Putro the coach of Bali united team.
