three international carriers to resume flights to bali in march

An official at Bali's Ngurah Rai airport has confirmed that three international airlines have offered to continue flights to Bali.

General Chairperson of Angkasa Pura I Ngurah Rai Airport Faik Fahmi confirmed that Jetstar Airways, KLM Royal Dutch, and Scoot Tiger Air had offered to continue scheduled flights to Bali International Terminal in March 2022.

"We are very pleased to hear that these three international airlines are considering resuming their regular flights to Bali. This is a positive sign that we are gaining more trust from foreign visitors who want to start their journey on the island," Fahmi said, Saturday. . . 2/19).

KLM Royal Dutch plans to continue the Singapore-Denpasar route and operate four flights in one week. Jetstar Airways intends to reopen the Denpasar-Singapore, Denpasar-Sydney and Denpasar-Melbourne routes which operate three flights in one week. Meanwhile, Scoot Tiger Air plans to continue the Singapore-Denpasar route with three flights a week.

Fahmi said Angkasa Pura was committed to supporting efforts to restart international air traffic by implementing strict prevention protocols.

"We hope that the number of international flights to Bali will gradually increase and this will have a positive impact on the economy," concluded Fahmi. Since Garuda and Singapore Airlines reopened international flights to Bali in early February 2022, Bali's airport has recorded 639 passengers.
