Putu Astawa, the Head of the Denpasar Tourism Agency, said that the
province government has just prepared a handbook that contains all of the
travel laws that international visitors must follow while on holiday on the
island. "Now that the border has been reopened for international tourists,
we've produced a guide book that they must study during their 5-day quarantine
here." Astawa stated on Tuesday, October 19th.
Astawa further stated that tourists are not permitted to leave
their hotel rooms unless they have tested negative for Covid-19 with a PCR test
on the fourth day of their quarantine. "In order to prevent Covid-19
transmissions in that institution, visitors are not permitted to leave their
hotel rooms throughout their quarantine." They can use that time to read
the guidebook they were given at the airport." Astawa elaborated.
Despite having zero flights at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport's
international terminal in October, Astawa is optimistic that guests will begin
to arrive in November and December 2021. "Both airlines and possible
international guests are prepared to fly in the near future, and I believe Bali
is now ready to welcome any visitors with all of the established preventative
methods outlined in the handbook," Astawa concluded.
