Jembrana Covid-19 Acceleration Handling Task Force Secretary II, I Putu Agus Artana Putra confirmed that all local government isolation facilities for Covid-19 patients have no occupants as Covid transmission had decreased significantly.

“We just received a patient a few weeks ago. We haven't received any more patients in the last few days," Artana said on Sunday (3/20).

Artana said four clinics and several designated hotels in Jembrana were empty. "Currently, no one is isolated, so all isolation facilities are empty," Artana added.

Although he does not accept patients in isolation, Artana admits that several patients with comorbidities are still being treated in the hospital.

"We still have Covid-19 patients in our hospital and asymptomatic patients self-isolating at home," Artana concluded. He also urged Balinese to join the vaccination program to avoid another spike in Jembrana.

Based on Jembrana Provincial Government data, Jembrana Regency has recorded 7,695 cases, 7,432 recovered and 247 deaths since the pandemic hit in 2020.
