39 marriott hotels lightened up by indonesia street food festival

Marriott International is holding the annual Ayo Makan by Marriott Bonvoy food festival for third year and this time its theme is street food. 

The festival will be held between 15th November 2019 to 15th January 2020. This time it will involve 39 Marriott locations with their chefs focusing on serving the delicacies of Indonesian street food based on traditional recipes.

“This year, we choose street food as our main theme because everybody loves authentic and signature street food that is close to their hearts. Good food is very often, simple food,” Ricarda Schneider, Marriott area director of operations for Indonesia, said in a statement.

Following dishes will be showcased during the street food festival, Asi Kucing (rice with various sides wrapped in paper or banana leaves) at Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa, nasi goreng rica roa (spicy fried rice) at Four Points by Sheraton Manado in North Sulawesi, Nasi Ayam Bu Oki (chicken rice) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua in Bali, beverages made from Bawang Dayak (Eleutherine bulbosa) at Four Points by Sheraton Balikpapan in East Kalimantan and es doger (shaved ice beverage with black glutinous rice) at JW Marriott Jakarta.

You can also find the The Ayo Makan carts at the other properties of Marriott like Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran in Bali,Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers in Bandung, The Westin Jakarta, West Java, Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya in East Java and many more.

A proper event for the launch of food festival was held at Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim in Central Jakarta on Wednesday and on Friday at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road.
