bali highlights week 1 - july 2016

The first week of Bali is considered to be one of the most happening week of the year. As our Muslim readers will be looking forward to their most sacred and celebrated religious event of the year known as " Eid'l Fitri". The usual hype and excitement of this event can easily be observed through the flow of exodus or "mudik" which is building up in Gilimanuk port and prices of bus tickets in Ubung Terminal, Denpasar has almost doubled. 

Bali Ngurah Rai Airport has taken drastic security measures and increased it with extreme vigilance in the wake of recent suicide bomb attack on Ata Turk Airport of Istanbul. More than 1400 officials have been deployed to guard the perimeters. 

The rainy moon soon is ready to hit Indonesia and Bali. The Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics of Bali predicted that all parts of Bali will get its share of medium to light showers.

Bali and Beyond Travel Fair has once again proved it self in promoting the tourism in Bali on a larger scale. This year event started on June 23rd and successfully brought 168 sellers from Bali & surrounding areas along with 222 buyers from 30 different countries.
