Last week had some great beginning and endings of some great events. 2018 Asian Games officially came to an end on September 2nd. The closing ceremony was simply amazing, mind blowing and legendary. Many may have thought that the rainfall may cause hindrance or trouble in the closing ceremony but it was simply unstoppable. Despite of the rainfall the ceremony lasted for about 3 and a half hour. It started at 7 pm with the National Anthem of Indonesia and ended with 18th Asian Games flame being extinguished and handing over the torch to the future host of Asian Games i.e. Republic of China.

This ceremony was not just the highlight but it was the performance of Indonesian Athletes that made the whole nation proud. This Asian Games will be remembered for the times to come as this is the greatest performance ever by Indonesia in Asian games since 1951. Indonesia stood tall on the fourth position, proudly winning 98 medals out of which 31 are gold medals.

Last week was also a welcoming week for some new restaurants which opened. We recommend that you definitely try the new ones in the evolving food scene of Bali. Full Circle, Sugar Sand and Makan place are the new additions.
