Indonesia and New Zealand has just signed up a MOU as a display of their mutual interest in boosting travel between the two countries. This MOU was signed by the Indonesian Tourism Minister Arief Yahya and Trade Minister of New Zealand Todd McClay in Jakarta. It covers the aspects of human resource development, information exchange, destination and tourism product development, marketing and promotions.

A clash recently broke out in a night club between the Satu Darah motorcycle club, an international motorcycle club holding a gathering in Bali. It resulted in injuring a dutch tourist and an Indonesian. The situation was later on got in control by the authorities. It happened in one of the famous night clubs of Kuta.
