bali highlights week 2 october 2018

2018 3rd Asian Para Games was the biggest highlight of October's second week. The opening ceremony with President Jokowi using the sign language to address crowd was the most heartfelt sight. This competition featured more than 3000 special athletes with disabilities from 43 different countries.

The athletes are competing in 18 sports activities including tracks and field, badminton, swimming, wheelchair basket ball, chess, wheel chair volley ball and many other. Indonesia has already bagged 23 gold medals which is significantly more than the targeted 16 medals.

Bali hosted the mega event of IMF-World Bank meeting between 12-14 October. Around 15,000 delegates from 189 countries attended the event. This mega event kept the central part of the Island a lot busier than usual.
