bali highlights week 3 - june 2016

The month long 38th Bali Arts Festival kicked start on saturday which will be held till July 6th 2016. Bali Arts Festival is going to feature 225 arts from different Balis district and cities. Expected artists count is 15 thousand to take part in the festival. The festival was officially started by the President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Bajra Sandhi Peoples Struggle Monument on Saturday evening.

Two tourists have been reported dead after deadly tidal waves hit at Padanggalak, Sanur. Multiple videos have been circulating the internet showing the waves being crashed in to Bars and pools in the area. The famous Rock bar at Ayana Resort got severely damaged and deserted immediately after the waves hit. Kudeta also experienced multiple wave poundings as well. These high waves didn't only just hit Bali but other parts of the country as well like East n Central Java.
