With the months of lock down due to the outbreak of corona virus, the urge of reconnecting with the nature has grown strong. The forced time spent at home has given people the realization of the importance of the beauty of the outdoors.

There are many destinations in Bali which are filled with nature however if anyone truly knows nature its the Green Camp Bali. This one of a kind bamboo touted school is found at the Green School Bali. It is famous for its beauty and closeness to nature due to its its environmental-friendliness and innovation in education, Green Camp offers programs and activities that bring people closer to nature, through fun and educational adventures.

Knowing that now is the best time to reconnect with the nature and enjoying the great outdoors, the school has reopened. This school has a variety of programs designed for children, adults, groups, families or retreats. Regardless of what program it is, it brings you close to culture, nature, sustainability, adventure and well-being into one perfect package.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THEIR PROGRAMS?

For children 10 years or above, their Adventure & Expedition Youth Camp is a five-day experience that includes hiking up a mountain, trekking through canyons and cycling through Bali’s rich landscape.

Nature Immersion program is designed for 7-12 years old with an option of either half or full day. In this program they join educational workshops, tours, hands on nature based activities, science, arts and many others. They also have a playgroup program for 4-6 years old kids which go from one day to a full week.

Green Camp offers a reconnecting to nature family camp. It is a two day experience where the whole family, parents and kids involve themselves in nature and adventurous activities in Green Camp rain forest environment. Its a perfect get back to the nature experience all banded together.

Green School has relaxing comfortable bamboo houses with organic garden. The food provided is organic and healthy plant based meals. For non-veg you also get the option of eggs and chicken.

This August, look out for some great programs already scheduled! The Youth Bamboo Design and Building Camp (starts 18 August), Youth Permaculture Camp (starts 25 August) and the Adventure and Expedition Camp (starts 29 August) are some great recommendations.
