Publicly listed lender Bank Central Asia (BCA) will maintain its 2016 loan growth target of 12 percent to around Rp 433 trillion (US$ 33 billion), eyeing corporate growth in the second half of the year. 

The bank’s vice president director Eugene K. Galbraith said in Jakarta on Friday that the bank planned to boost credit disbursement, especially in corporate and consumer sectors, in the second half of the year.

 “We are seeing that corporations are becoming more optimistic in the second half. So we are upbeat about the target," Galbraith said, adding that competitive pricing in the consumer sector had resulted in BCA products, including housing and car loans, to sell well.
