Indonesian villagers and citizens were in for a surprise when a 50 feet long blob washed up on a shore near Hulung Beach on Tuesday night. It is so huge that they initially mistaken it for a big boat. Arsul Tuanakota who was the first one to see says as they got closer they realized that it wasn't any ship but a dead body of a sea creature. No one including the experts have been able to identify the mysterious creature.
The blob like creature is said to be 50 feet in length and weighs at least 35 tons, easily up to the weight of 4 elephants combined. Some locals however are claiming to identify the blob as a Giant Squid however experts are not sure about that. Marcus Chua of Singapore’s Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum has given a statement to a famous internet website Mashable that there is no history or record of Giant squids in Indonesian Waters.

Chua has however stated that there is a possibility that this creature may be a whale belonging to the baleen group or a hump back. “in the advanced stage of decomposition it is not possible to determine whether that is a humpback whale or not.” he further added.
To come to a better conclusion of this mystery known marine experts were scheduled to collect the sample of the creature on Thursday. Military command is keeping a close watch on the carcass. Locals have however demanded to take care of the carcass as early as possible. As the huge size of body in a decomposition state will be contaminating the water.
