return of ubud food festival in april 2020

Annual Ubud Food Festival is all set to return for its 6th year on April 17 2020.

The event will feature food tours, master classes, cooking demos and much more, this time the "Heroes" themed festival will take place at more than 30 venues across Ubud Bali.

“One of the most significant aspects about the food on our table is the people behind it. When we’re eating, we tend to forget that there’s a story behind every food item, every meal, every cuisine,” said UFF founder and director Janet DeNeefe in a statement. “We want to highlight the people behind the process and the significant role they play in creating the exemplary flavors that we have today.”

This time highlighted line up representing the theme of the festival will include Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards 2020's Chef of the Year, Paul Carmichael; 2019 James Beard Foundation Book Award winner Matt Abergel; Chris Salans; Khanh Nguyen; Germany’s youngest female Michelin-starred chef Julia Komp; Bangka-born Eddrian Tjhia; MasterChef Indonesia judge Renatta Moeloek; and Wayan Sukarta.
