Traveling in groups is always fun however some people prefer traveling solo for various reasons. Sometimes it's work, sometimes pleasure but most of the time it is not only to explore the destination but yourself as well. A recent trend has been observed in the exotic vacation spots throughout the world of solo travelers specially Islands like Bali. You will be surprised to see that there is a large number of females in those solo travelers. The idea itself sound fun as you get explore by choice, meet new people, challenging and adventurous. However trip like these require proper planning, research and a lot of common sense. So we decided to give a shout out to all those female lone travelers in how they can make their trip safer and more enjoyable.   Go CIA on Your Surrounding: By going CIA we do not mean to carry a gun and start shooting people or dropping bombs. Just keep an eye, trust your instincts and make sure you are aware of what's going in your surroundings. Now we are not asking you to be paranoid, just be sensible, observe and act confident because if you feel there is something off about anything, it probably is. Take Care of Your Belongings:- As a woman you may have to carry a lot of things at the same time, rather it be your gadgets, money or cosmetics. We understand your need of carrying handbag. So keep that handbag in your lap whenever you are sitting down, wrap the strap around your neck passing under your shoulder while traveling. If you're in a coffee shop or a bar tie the shoulder strap of the bag around your sofa or chair. Tag along with a group for Night Out:- Now the night time is exotic but can be dangerous at the same time. So if you are traveling alone without family & friends, try to go out to with the group you are traveling with or the families staying at your hotel. Safety is in numbers specially at an unknown place so always decide a central meeting point if you somehow still manage to get lost. Prefer Women Over Men ;):- In an unknown place we recommend you to sit next to the local women whenever you are waiting for the train or a bus. Always stay close to them as it would give out the impression that you are with the locals. Keep Em Safe & Small:- Now these small things may sound stupid but they are effective. Always keep your money in a money belt, wear it wrap it under your shirt and you will have lesser or no chance of being pickpocketed. Avoid taking expensive jewelry with you on your trips, wear artificial. If you are single wear a fake wedding ring as it will prevent you from getting unwanted attention. Drink with Eyes Open:- This is the most important rule of all, we are sure that you already practice that. However do not accept drinks from a stranger specially when they are not made in front of you. Always keep an eye on your drinks and do not leave them unattended.
