NUSA DUA: Jam at the Bali Blues Festival

Catch the blues this weekend at the 3rd Bali Blues Festival down by the sea in Nusa Dua. The event will feature Indonesian artists as well as various international bands. Tickets come in one-day or two-day options and can be purchased in a bundle with a t-shirt (1D Rp200k, 2D Rp300k).

SEMINYAK: Shut the weekend out with some legendary cocktails

Close out your weekend with a bang at one of Seminyak’s buzziest new joints, Bikini. To make things even more interesting, the bar will be ‘taken over’ by Raka Ambaraw, owner and mixologist of Locavore’s new hot spot, The Night Rooster. Expectations are high here for the three drinks of that will be served up, as Ambaraw is known for playing with premium spirits and local ingredients, like Bikini’s own head mixologist, Arey Barker. Get there early, first drink is apparently on the house.

CANGGU: Tuck into Caribbean barbecue and boogie

If low key’s more your style, then head over on Sunday arvo to Canggu’s self-proclaimed ‘epicenter of the emerging food and fashion scene’ for a bbq followed by dancing. Brand-spanking-new Jamaican barbecue joint, Charcoal Soul, is popping up at the Love Anchor Complex and sharing the stage with Koh for an evening of bbq ribs, jerk chicken, slow smoked beef shin, pork belly—along with veggie-friendly options like jerk tofu tempe burger—with DJ-ing by the Koh crew.
