A lot of passengers are left stranded in Bali after Indonesian Government cancelled Tiger Air Flight TT24 because of a technicality. This decision while has not impacted other flights of Tiger Air, it still impacted over 170 passengers flying to Perth from Bali.
Tiger Air issued a statement earlier this morning that Airline has cancelled several flights to Denpasar today by following orders from Indonesian Government. The cancellation happened because of the new administrative requirements for the flight operations between Bali and Australia.
“Tigerair was and is in compliance with all original conditions imposed by the Indonesian Government on the operation of its Bali services.” They also confirmed that their relevant department is working with Indonesian Authorities to meet the new requirements and resolve the issue at priority. Following this dispute Tigerair’s daily return Melbourne – Bali, Adelaide – Bali and Perth – Bali flights are under review until further notice.
Tigerair is ensuring to provide re accommodation options for customer support by contacting the passengers affected by this decision. While their other operations are running smooth as per routine.
