virtually explore indonesia's tourist destinations - invitation for changi travelers

Changi Airport has a new promotional activity going in Singapore. Now travelers can virtually explore Indonesia's most popular destinations through VR (Virtual Reality) with an interactive experience. This promotion is set to run till 6th November 2019. Interested visitors can visit the VR booth which is located at airport terminal 3 in the basement 2. 

This VR booth gives the travelers an opportunity to experience many destinations across the archipelago, such as Bali, Banyuwangi, Riau Islands, West Java, Sumba, Rapatwaken (Raja Ampat, Wakatobi and Bunaken), Jakarta, Lombok, Joglosemar (Yogyakarta, Surakarta and Semarang), Makassar and Ambon.

This booth also provides tips and information to the visitors with recommendations of the places to visit. This Booth is named as Xperience Wonderful Indonesia Hub is a result of a collaboration between Traveloka a a business unit of a travel and lifestyle service provider and technology company, named Traveloka Xperience, the Tourism Ministry, the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore and the Changi Airport Group.

"Hopefully more tourists from Singapore will be interested in visiting Indonesia after exploring the various destinations available virtually at the booth," Christian said.

Lim Ching Kiat the Managing Director of Changi Airport Group's Air Hub Development stated that he expects this hub to be an inspiration for the travelers. As it will help them in discovering new destinations in Indonesia so they can plan their next trip accordingly.

"Every week there are more than 500 flights to 13 Indonesian cities. This interactive experience can offer more information regarding Indonesian tourist destinations as a new reference for the travelers," Lim added
